The jewel vase collection is made of hand blown, faceted, one of a kind vases. Each piece starts with layers of soda lime glass to which colored glass is added and then blown into shape. Once cooled the vases are hand faceted and polished on a sequence of 5-8 diamond embedded discs taking it from rough to polished. This process is similar to the one used to facet and cut gemstones, inspiring the name.
